Reverend John Fraser, Minister

John was born in Tabusintac, the second son of Russell and Grace Fraser, on December 11, 1950. As he grew in body, his parents also looked after his spiritual teaching through the church.

In 1971 he married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Davis, and they lived in Saint John N.B. where John was employed with Strescon Ltd. They were blessed with three children: Tanya, now working for the Irving group of companies; Christina, a daycare owner and operator; and Marc, studying to be a Presbyterian minister at Presbyterian College in Montreal.

In 1978, at a festival of faith, the Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit called John to be a minister of the gospel. He attended the University of New Brunswick in Saint John, receiving his B.A., then continued to the Atlantic School Of Theology where he obtained his Master of Divinity degree.

The ministry to which John has been called has at times proven to be a harvester: to till the soil and spread the seed; to water and weed; to walk beside. In all of this, the power and presence of the living Christ has changed peoples lives and has indeed called us to be the church, Christ's family in the world.
