Sunday School

There are approximately 60 children enrolled in the Sunday School this year, with seven teachers leading them. The curriculum we use is WITNESS, which is a bible based program. Our classes begin at 10:45 Sunday morning, with a bible story and fellowship. The children are then lead in music before lesson and craft time start at 11:00.

Our Mission

As coordinator and teachers, our mission is to educate and nuture the children's spiritual well being and to do this in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Our Motto

We care because your children's spiritual needs are important to us.

Why I believe in Sunday School

1. Because it is the best way yet devised for us from childhood to learn of the life and teaching of Jesus and the mission and work of the church.

2. Because many people have prayed for it and worked for it, gathering the best teaching Christians and the best materials they can find, using a period each week for an in depth study of God’s Word.

3. Because it has given growing minds a sense of Christian fellowship, the radiance of Christian experience, and the blessing of Christian service that changed their lives.

4. Because it helps the church in teaching the Christian faith so that when people worship and work through the church they may know more about why they are doing this and what our faith offers to the modern world.

5. Because of its great history of service in the study of the Word.

6. Because it so persuasively opened me to the truth, the power, and the revelation of divine love through Jesus Christ.

7. Because in it and through it I came to have fellowship of so many Christian friends.

8. Because it gave me the opportunity to know the testimonies and the depths of the heart and mind of so many children, young people, and adults who were learning the love of God, of his Word and of the working of the Holy Spirit.

9. Because it gave me a searching glimpse of the church through history, ministering especially to the weary and heavy-laden, the deprived, and the oppressed.

10. Because it is one of the best ways of learning and applying the eternal truths God has given us and of reaching out into the community in his name.
