Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Team works with the church Minister to create a friendly congregational atmosphere and a caring church community.

Our team is formed of lay people selected from the church council to co-ordinate many forms of pastoral care, including:

• visits to the elderly
• visits with families in times of illness, bereavement or other significant milestones in their lives
• organizing visits from the Minister
• organizing and catering church social events

Many of the services provided by the Pastoral Care Team can be a blessing to those unable to attend weekly church services.

We also send out newsletters and greeting cards to keep in touch with members of our congregation, and welcome children to the church with a gift of a teddy bear at their baptism.
